the homegrown story

We love Big Rapids. We were raised here on a small farm, but never realized just how special farm-fresh was until we left home. Now, two culinary degrees later, we’re back and ready to share a true taste of home with locals, students, and travelers alike. Our meals are made from local ingredients whenever possible and based off of treasured family recipes.

We always like to try new things, so each day we have 3 special menu options. Let us know how you like them and at the end of the month we’ll award one a permanent place on our menu. Come on over for a hardy breakfast or a refreshing lunch. We can’t wait to see you here.
